Your logbook shouldn't have an expiration date

Most digital logbooks disappear after a few years. The company pivots, the app gets abandoned, and your flight records go with it.

The ones that do survive? They raise prices. What started as a reasonable subscription quietly creeps up, year after year, until you're paying a premium just to access your own data. Switch to something cheaper and you're starting from scratch.

Falcon is built differently. It's free, it's open source, and it stores your data in a format you control. Even if development stops tomorrow, your logbook lives on. That's not a feature. It's a promise.

We're building this for every pilot, from student pilots logging their first solo to airline captains recording block times across timezones. One app that adapts to how you fly, not the other way around.

Everything you need, nothing you don't

Built by a pilot, for pilots. Every feature exists because it solves a real problem in the cockpit or at the desk.

✈️

Smart flight logging

A guided wizard that pre-fills what it can and asks you to confirm the rest. Block times, tacho, local. However you fly, Falcon speaks your language.

🌙

Automatic night time

Enter your airports and Falcon calculates night time using real sunrise and sunset data along your route. No manual guesswork.

📋

Currency & certificates

Track medical expiries, BFRs, line checks, and anything else with a date. Know what's coming due before it catches you off guard.

📡

Offline first

Log flights at FL350 or on a remote airstrip. Everything saves locally, syncs when you're back online. No Wi-Fi required.

📤

Export anything

Your data belongs to you. Export everything as CSV, Excel, JSON, or PDF whenever you want. No paywalls, no restrictions.

🌍

Every platform

iPhone in the cockpit, desktop at home, web from anywhere. One codebase, one logbook, every device you own.

Your data, your way

Falcon gives you three ways to host your logbook: locally on your device, self-hosted on your own server, or via our managed Falcon Cloud service.

Start simple with local storage, then upgrade to self-hosted or Falcon Cloud as your needs grow.

💻
Local Store your data on your device. Perfect for a simple workflow. Supports export and backup; if something goes wrong, you can import from your last backup. Note: multi-device sync is not available.
🖥️
Self-hosted Connect your own Postgres database. Full control, full ownership, always free.
☁️
Falcon Cloud Managed sync across all your devices. Zero setup, and your subscription supports ongoing development.
If Falcon ever shuts down, the code goes fully open. Your logbook survives. That's the deal.

Most apps make you dependent. Falcon does the opposite. The source code is public. If you don't trust the cloud, host it yourself. And if we disappear? The licence changes so anyone can carry it forward. Your career's flight records deserve that kind of commitment.
